  5. A journal is an excellent tool for self expression and self discovery. All todoften Our emotions are kept in check. Feelings are bottled up inside of Us. Finally We explode or implode because of the need for self expression.

  8. Writing is my outlet, though I prefer to type and save my hand the cramping. Either way, I love the concept of journaling. It does tend to ease some of my anxieties when I write what I'm feeling. I don't always have the time, but I will work on it.

  11. I have not journaled in such a long time. But I feel myself leaning towards journaling again, just to so that I can lay out my thoughts and it allows me to see my life on paper to make sure it is going in the direction of my goals and dreams. I have started with gratitude prompts and love them, and it is excellent for mental health.

  13. For years, I was a journal drop out. To make it a little easier for myself, I bought a beautiful, leather bound journal and a beautiful pen that I only used for that activity. The end result? That book has been full for two years now and I've had to start another one. Thanks for sharing!
